I'm using an msi b450m gaming plus mobo, my case im using is the thermaltake versa h18, it can support 5 120mm fans, is there a way for me to control 5 120mm fans? I was thinking of using the deepcool fan hub and connect it to the mobo. But would i be able to control my fans' speed through the bios using this method. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
This can work IF you follow some "rules".

1. The mobo has two SYS_FAN headers and by default they are configured to use the older DC Mode. For EACH of those headers you will need to change that in BIOS Setup to using PWM Mode, and remember to SAVE and EXIT after that change.
2. The Deepcool device you linked I would call a SPLITTER, not a Hub. Why? A HUB has a connection to a PSU power output to get lots of power for all its fans. A SPLITTER does not - it merely connects all its fans in parallel to the power supplied by the mobo SYS_FAN header. That's what the Deepcool "Fan Hub" does. Now, a mobo fan header can supply up to 1.0 A current max to the total load of all fans connected to it. I suggest you buy TWO of those Deepcool units...

I suggest you buy TWO of those Deepcool units and use them to connect three fan to one header, and two fans to another, to distribute the load.

3. Buy only 4-pin fans because that type can be controlled by the mobo PWM Mode.
4. Check carefully the max current draw spec for the fans you intend to buy. Make sure that the total for 3 fans (using one of those Deepcool units on a single SYS_FAN header) is under 1.0 A. Normally this is not going to be a problem. But some very high power fans, and some older designs of simple LED fans, draw more current than a "normal" fan. If you have any doubts about this, post here what fans you are considering buying.
