Hello, can I connect a 4-pin case fan into a 3-pin motherboard and how? Thanks (Without adapters)

can I connect a 4-pin case fan into a 3-pin

a 4pin PWM fan can still run through a 3pin DC header, there will just be no option to set a custom PWM curve.

the only option available this way would be a DC power setting, if available through the motherboard.
