So I've recently started working on my first custom build

I've finally got everything in place and connected,I'm getting the beep on startup, and all is well. The only issue I'm facing is my case fans.Whenever I try to connect them to the PSU and mobo, I get the fans to spin for half a revolution and the LED lights up,and then nothing. Then when I unplug the fans and try to boot,I get nothing until I unplug my 24 pin connector and plug it back in.

My Type-3 Connectors from Corsair CX 430m Modular Power Supply
My fan connections from CoolerMaster CMStorm Enforcer Case

I have a Gigabyte B85m-D2W Micro-ATX mobo
Thanks everyone for your help!

I can get it to boot fine.If I boot without fans the whole computer will startup just fine. The problem only comes when I plug my fans in,so im worried about my configuration/slot placement.

The CPU fan is plugged in correctly. It's on top of the board, and was one of the first steps i took. The Sys fan may be where I'm messing up.its at the bottom of the board next to be usb panel plugs and front panel plugs.I've been plugging the connector from the type 3 cord provided by corsair pictured into there and using it to power the case fans(or try to),but it might be upside down/the wrong spot, etc.

I fixed it for the time being.I went ahead and directly connected the fans to the PSU and everything worked.I think the issue was,and maybe you're supposed to do this i don't know,is that I was plugging into the PSU and the mobo at the same time, thus creating the short out.I *THINK.* Regardless, thanks for all of your help
