Case front door and airflow

I am looking for a new case, and have been using an antec 1200 case for a number of years.

I have always been a fan of a slightly positive air pressure to help keep the dust out, so the front intake fans are important.

Would getting a case with a front door decrease airflow?

I am actually looking to go away from antec (since the 1200 had crummy wire management) and prefer full tower cases since I will eventually go sli/crossfire, and just enjoy the more room to work with.

I was actually looking at the nzxt phantom which brought up this question.

I was going to build my pc with a NZXT Phantom for a while, but then I didn't want to use the phantom because of the door. Anytime I want to use a USB port, I would have to leave it open, which would look really weird to me. Thats just my thoughts on the phantom.

If your looking for a full size tower with front intake, I would recommend the Corsair 800D.

I am more just curious if a front door covering drive bays/ intake fans would have significant impact on cooling and airflow. Or are would they not effect the overall airflow and performance and are just aesthetically pleasing.

Most of the time they are built with that in mind. They usually have intakes on the side of the door or at the bottom to allow air to flow with the door close. One Antec case I have I had to block off that access on the bottom because it also bypassed the dust filter,
