So my case has a shroud for the PSU, and im contemplating modifying it via drilling holes in it, flipping the PSU upside down to where the fan is facing up.

Will this improve my cooling? The video card that will be above said vent will be my MSI Vega 64 Airboost card. Here's my proposed idea

My CPU will have an AIO for it soon (Ryzen 7 2700X)

Case is: Apevia X-Infinity Mid Tower

And i have 3 front case fans.

Solution
Probably not.
Let the PSU draw in air from the outside (bottom) and flow out the back. Let it do its own cooling, and let the rest of the case and fans do their own thing.

If it were a good idea to do as you proposed, it would already be built like that.
