Hey guys (first post after lurking for year!)

I have a 2013 iMac and I was trying to install all of my programs for graphic design (adobe etc). I was on support with adobe for weeks and they finally came to the conclusion that my HDD was case sensitive. I was wondering what is the easiest way to restore my drive as non-case sensitive. I have a 1 tb external and time machine so that probably helps.

Thanks,

Connor

I'm pretty sure that you need to reformat your disk to do this; but that should be fairly easy as you have a time machine backup and a recent Mac. Before you do so, have you actually verified with Disk Utility that the disk is formatted as case sensitive; unless you deliberately did that, it is fairly unlikely.
