How do you know your case can have a SSD 2'5. I know if it has a 2'5 slot it can handle an SSD, but can a 3'5 hold an SSD in place. Do you need to buy a part? I see on some cases the storage devices are held in place w\within a device that then get put into the storage section, but I also see some cases don't have this. How do you know what words signify a case will have this or not. If you could point me in the direction of a case with SSD compatibility, and something with good cable management that would be great. Also if it was under $50 that would be great. New at this, and don't want to mess up. Thanks.

Hi Sharky1289 ,
some HDD trays have holes in them to mount 2.5" SSDs others require a simple adaptor plate like this ,

then this tray mounts into the 3.5 bay
they are cheap and can be purchased almost anywhere , a lot of ssd manufacturers include these with a ssd when you buy one

Thanks, do you have any suggestions for case?

ATX form, no water cooling. Just looking for anything under $50, and with good cable management.
