Question I can't find the reason for the poor performance ?

CPU: Intel i7-9700F
CPU cooler: Deepcool AG300 MARRS
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 D (BIOS ver. is F5a, latest)
Ram: Kingston HyperX KHX3200C16D4/8GX x2
SSD/HDD: ADATA SX6000PNP (Windows), KINGSTON SA400S37960G (game)
GPU: MSI RTX 2070
PSU: Aerocool KCAS 750G, 5 y.o.
OS: Win 10 pro, 10.0.19045
Monitor: Acer ED273 A

I've encountered a problem while playing Dune: Awakening. The game would constantly freeze while playing, with GPU and CPU usage <100%, temps at 70-72(GPU), 60-65(CPU). The freezes get less extreme the more i play. During them, GPU and CPU usage drops immensely, down to 0%. I don't have enough experience to pinpoint the cause of this problem myself, so i hope to get some help from users on this forum. thanks in advance!

the system ssd is at 67/234(free gb/overall gb), the game drive is at 250/894. the system ssd is also at 3% remaining drive lifetime according to AIDA, if that helps

Well......I'd start with replacing those and then troubleshooting further.

If the 3% life is a true number, replace the system drive.
When there are few nand chips left capable of writing to, the system will pause and try to clean things up.
You don't need that.
You should be able to clone the drive to a replacement.
And... it might be good to go to 500gb regardless.
