I've painted myself into a corner.

I want to cancel Verizon FIOS and stream TV. I already have a ROKU stick on TV.

I ran Cat 6 Patch cable from router to TV (25ft). Pugged Cat 6 into router LAN port then (OPPS) realized I don't have a LAN port on LG Smart TV, only HDMI and USB ports.

Is there an adapter to Plug Cat 6 male then into HDMI port.

Responses are appreciated as well as suggestion for self-butt kicking.

So-o-o I have a PS3 with an open LAN port and the PS3 in connected to TV via HDMI cable. Is that solving my problem?
We're not sure you have "a problem".

The TV purports to be a 'Smart TV'.
Therefore, it would have some sort of connectivity.
WiFi or ethernet.
The specs I linked seem to say both.

Further, your Roku stick also connects to the router (and outside world) via WiFi.

I know I can stream WIFI but I've read you get better input via hardwire and since I've spent money on the cable and energy running it I'd like to stay with this plan.
Do you think the PS3 hookup will be it?

Stop trying to make the Cat5e cable go into the HDMI port.
Leave the PS3 out of this completely.

One Cat5e cable from the router, to the RJ-45 port on the back of the TV.
Done.

I hope you all can read this post.

Found LAN port next to audio jacks. TV is tight against the wall and difficult to find plus LG manual did not help. It does not show a LAN port, only audio jacks.

Thank you all for responding
