Can you advise best Cat cable to connect router to devices Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7

Will be steaming 4K need the cable to be 1m any brands and places to where to buy?

Thanks

It won't matter. Cat 5e and cat6 cables are almost always physically the same. The cat 6 are just certified for 1000mbps. Cat7 is only needed in cases where there is high interference. Usually this is only in industrial applications.

No matter what the speed will be the same. So save your cash and go with cat6 or cat5e

I'm a Yankee, so I can't help you with a supplier. If monoprice ships to the UK, Id check them out. I usually find the fairest prices at home improvement stores vs electronic stores.

Brand won't matter. Also if you need a lot or longer lengths I'd look into making it yourself. It can be purchased by the foot at home improvement stores.

Anything up to 100 feet, and a one time buy....just buy one or two
If you're going to have a LOT of cables, then yes...learn to make it.
But terminating it right takes a bit of practice.
