So basically I have 1 cat5 point wired in cat5 cable and have soured this of 1st cat5 point which is fed from my rooter. Works at 1st point but not at 2nd I have tested cable all ok just can't get hard wired signal at 2nd spur help!!!!

I even run a fly lead from back cat5 2 plate to t.v but no joy but works if I plug Ethernet cable in to socket of cat5 2 to the t.v it works

Fair enough
Thanks for your help

But it shud work if connections are right? Mayb not the best way or the proper way but it should work as there basically just spurs ( joint box) to my 3rd cat5 point?

If, from each of the 8 wires in the junction box and Cat5 cable, there is a verified solid connection to the corresponding wire at the router end....it should work.

Unless there is some other major weirdness going on. "Spurs" and "junction points" twig my 'something is not quite right' sense.

Single wire from each wall port back to a central spot.
