[SOLVED] Cat6 and HDMI

How can I find out if my PC is capable of sending a signal from hdmi over a cat6 extender? I have the cat5/6 extender kit. I have hdmi output on my desktop PC. Am I doing it right? I'm running the hdmi from the PC to the cat5/6 extender and then the cat5/6 transmitter is going to a cat5/6 receiver then back out hdmi to television. I get nothing. The PC display does change but I'm assuming its because of the video setting which I've tried extender and clone. An expedited answer would be appreciated as I have to figure this out by tomorrow, thanks.

You may have to temporarily move your PC to directly connect to the TV. Verify that works. Then try the extenders with a 10ft cat6 cable. Get that to work. Then move to the longer cable.
