I was on the computer and was going to burn a cd but when
i went my computer both of my drives were gone. The only
drives showing are my floppy and my c:. I can't get them
back, when i go to sytem, device manager they don't show
up. If anybody out there can help me please!!!!

If they don't show up in POST (black screen with white letters before
Windows Logo with green or blue strobe light) then shutdown PC disconnect
power, properly ground yourself to the case with a wrist strap (static
discharge kills electronics), check non functioning drives for loose data
cable, and power cables, also where data cable (40 pin) connects to
mainboard. Replacing data cable is a good first (and cheap) step.
