CD Key

Just received a replacement CD for Roxio CD Creator Platinum. I misplaced the CD and case. Now I am trying to install it on a new PC and it wants the CD Key on back of CD case. Since I do not have the case, is there a place I can find the info in the registry of my original PC where it is installed?

I know that you can find serial numers from programs in:
HKEY_local_machine\software\"name of the program"\serial (ore something like that.) even the serial from your win2000 instalation is there.
how it works with cd-keys i dont know
