CD OS not Booting

I have selected my boot priorities, connected a usb portable cd drive, and put in the OS cd. I assumed the cd would start the boot, but it has not. I am using the ASROCK UEFI, do I need to manually boot somehow?

For my ASUS comp I press the Esc Key where a pop up menu comes up where I select to boot from CD/DVD. This is all before I boot into Windows.

Try manually booting from the DVD, through use of the popup boot menu. Usually F11 or F12 during the POST.
