CD room can not read CD but is reading dvd

CD room is not reading any CD

Clean the lens, use rubbing alcohol and some soft cloth - don't use cotton.

Remove it then give 2 slaps remove 4 screws open top high air to clean using aircleaner or ur mouth search for any damage in parts

If warenty is present dont do that above said give it to purchased store

The DVD drive uses two lasers, one for CD's and one for DVD's. It is possible that the CD laser is burned out.
