Hi, i want to know if my CDP 1000va stabilizer is enough for this pc:

-RTX 3070 Vision
-AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D
-512gb samsung m.2

And if it is not enough, what happens if i use this?

Sorry for my poor english.

AVR does not keep your PC running when there are blackouts. Only UPS is capable for that.

What AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) does, is stabilizing incoming voltage, protecting PC from brownouts (voltage drops) and surges (voltage increase).

Good quality, line-interactive, true/pure sine wave UPS, already has AVR in it and since it being an UPS, will also protect your PC against blackouts (power loss).

So, UPS is far better than just buying AVR alone.

Btw, what Watts the AVR is? Sure, it's 1000VA, but wattage wise, it is much less.

It is bad to use an AVR below the minimum watts actually i need?

Worst case scenario, you'll fry your AVR. Which in turn, can fry your PSU. And PSU can kill your entire PC.

RTX 3070 is 220W GPU, but when considering transient power spikes, PSU wattage should be 850W. Same goes with AVR as well, at least 850W AVR. Perhaps even more when you hook tablets/smart phones to it as well.

What are GPU transient power spikes? A video to watch:

Question now is, what is your PSU make and model (or part number)? How old it is and was it bought new or used/refurbished?
