when i used to work for vt miltope, they gave all employees a 10% discount for cdw products/sales. the thing is cdw was charging 12% over retail cost for our company so our discount was 2% over retail cost.

It's down to $2699. Remember, CDW sells to a lot of businesses, with people buying things with their company's money. CDW can charge these prices because people will buy them. Now that the price is <1/2 of $6000, they will come back for 2 more!
