Would a laptop (Acer Swift 1) with these specs and a 64gb SSD be useable? I know the performance wouldn't blow the world away; I'm just wondering if a laptop with these specs would perform reasonably well or just be a stuttery mess. I would use it mainly for watching YouTube/iPlayer, writing documents and editing reasonably media-heavy PowerPoints.

Would it be up to it, or should I go for the more expensive Swift 1 version with the Pentium N5000? My budget is pretty tight. Or should I go for the older Swift 1 version with a Pentium N4200?

Solution
A quick Google search reveals that the Acer Swift 1 with the Pentium Silver N5000 CPU sells for about $370.

For $380 you can buy the following Acer laptop with a dual core i3-8130u CPU, 1TB HDD and 6GB of RAM. It also has a DVD drive (pretty rare these days) and an okay 1080p screen.

You can upgrade the RAM and replace the HDD with a SSD in the future.
