I am from india , I broke my cpu (pins of the cpu , two of them) i want to buy a cpu but cheaper one , please suggest me

My current cpu - AMD Athlon II X2 240

My current motherboard - M2N68-AM PLUS

A cheaper CPU? Pretty much any CPU that fits that board is going to be very cheap. You should go for whatever you can find to be honest.

That is the list of compatible CPUs. You are going to have to look at used parts on whatever your best regional auction site is.

That X2 is a dual core, so anything cheaper would be single core. If I remember right, the AMD single cores from back then were called "Sempron". So if you can't find another X2 cheap enough to replace this one, look for a Sempron.

I'm seeing Athlon X2 250 out there for $9 on ebay, less on Alibaba. We are not talking big money here. It might actually be harder to track down single core CPUs.
