Certain Games Causing Crashes

Whenever I play certain games, my computer what seems to crash at random. My computer is about 3-4 years old, I forgot the exact model but the closest match I've found is the Asus ROG G20AJ. My problem started about 2 years ago while I was playing Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. I'm not exactly sure what happens when it crashes, but I'll try to describe it the best I can. The screen freezes for a second repeating the last audio it has played before it froze, then the sound keeps repeating and the screen turns to one color. From what I've seen, it's always a different color. Sometimes, everything returns to normal after it freezes for a few seconds but it always turns to one color at some point. My only option when this happens is to force a shutdown by holding down the power button, then the computer is fine when I start it up again. It may also be worth mentioning that the games usually run completely fine for hours or evens days before it starts crashing, then it crashes a few minutes after I start the game again with a few exceptions that I'll mention later. When this starts happening, I stop playing the game and move on to something else since I haven't been able to find a solution. I'll now list the games that started crashing in chronological order; Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (I stopped playing this when it kept crashing), about 5 months ago I started playing Subnautica and it started crashing after a couple days of playing, then it happened once with Kerbal Space Program (which isn't even near as graphically demanding as the other two games) but didn't happen again, Viscera Cleanup Detail after playing it for a day, Team Fortress 2 crashed once, and the most recent crash was Payday 2 which has only crashed once after playing a few hours. I've tried cleaning the dust out of my computer and it didn't help. I tried monitoring the temperatures of my computer while playing one of the games and even though I'm sure at least one of my temperature sensors is broken, I didn't see much of a change from the idle temperatures when it crashed. I also tried keeping the fans on 100% but it still crashed. I've updated my drivers, aswell. Sorry for how long this post is, I wanted to give all the information I could. Here are my specs: https://pastebin.com/8fHqQgjE

It may be a virus, corrupted operating system or a hardware issue.
If it is a virus or a corrupted operating system, then backup all of your information on an external drive and then make a new install of the operating system.
If it is a hardware issue, then you need to replace or fix that unresponsive part.

I'm pretty sure it's not caused by a virus, and I'll see what I can do about re-installing the operating system. If it is a hardware issue, do you have any idea of what the issue could be?
