6 monitor support is viable for lower end cards as well, not everyone needs their 6 monitors for gaming.
If AMD were to offer an Eyefinity6 5600 series card for non-gamers (and the business users) I'm sure there'd be a market for it. Video editing for instance would benefit greatly from a card like this.
