i already know its obvious but i already have a rx480 so im thinking about a second one i forgot to mention that in my last thread but i decided to give it another go and see the responses i get. The GTX 1070 is better but then i would have an rx480 as a paperweight. I game at 1080p and mostly play overwatch

I dont really have anybody to sell it to or anything. Yea i have the 8gb and i record videos so the extra frames make the video seem nicer and smoother. Not sure if overwatch uses crossfire well but research can be done.

I get around 100 frames on highest settings maxed out
heres my system as of now:
-AMD FX-8350
-CORSAIR H100i V2
-Gigabyte GA-970-GAMING SLI AM3+ ATX AMD Motherboard
-Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800)
-Toshiba P300 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA III 6Gb/s 3.5"
-XFX Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5 Video Card w/ Dual Dissipation HeatSink
-EVGA 600B PSU
-NZXT S340 White

im going to upgrade cpu soon as ryzen is just around the corner

Well if you keep FPS over 60 that would be perfect for recording (rendered @60FPS, thats the highest realistic upload).
Honestly, if you experience frame drops or anything during recording its probably on the processor.

I would hold the money over for a processor upgrade or an SSD.

might be a good idea as i would bottleneck a 1070

overwatch is more of a gpu intensive game as gpu usage is at 100% the cpu just stays within the 50% range so a cpu upgrade for me wont really be much and ive heard cpu in overwatch wont get you a lot more fps (obviously)

With all AI bots maxed that means they had a lot of bots on the map. I only play competitive and it's never cpu intensive
