Change AMD for Intel in HP laptop

Hello there

I have PC Notebook HP ENVY m6-1154sp and I wonder if I could replace the AMD processor by a Intel one. These are the specifications:

- AMD A8 - 4500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1,90 GHz

- 6,0 GB RAM

- AMD Radeon HD 7600M Dual Graphics

Also, If not, what upgrades could I do to him?

no you can't moterhboard is only one make specific

Intel and AMD use different sockets. So you either find a motherboard with the socket you need for intel, which is the exact same size and layour as the AMD one, or find a better AMD CPU for your laptop that uses the same socket.

Im afraid you will not be able to swap to an Intel processor with your current Laptop.
This is because laptops are specifically shaped and designed to fit the case, meaning there are hundreds of different types of Motherboards for the cases.

Second to this, the laptop will only support the motherboard it currently has, meaning that you can not interchange motherboards.

What exactly is your reason to trying to switch to Intel and what is your price range?

Find a better cpu that fits the socket, assuming the cpu isn't welded on

Generally speaking you can't change the cpu's in laptops as they a soldered onto the laptop, there are very few of them, the max most laptops allow are the storage devices and ram. There are very few that allow the cpu to get swapped.
