Question Change cpu frequency per program

I have a 9900k @ 5.1 ghz and an avx offset of 1. I’ve noticed a game and my browser stay at 5.0 ghz when using. Is there any way to tell my cpu to always use these programs @ 5.1 ghz?

With ITU there is a possibility to have per-app profiles. I would try that.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not entirely sure what program that is. Sounds like Intel Tuner or something. Do you have a link?

And I can have avx 1 for the rest of the computer and avx 0 per program? It looks like I would have to turn off avx 1 for the program but I'm not sure where to go to do that. In other words I don't know where to tweak the avx so it does it just for the program. It does look perfect for what I need. I don't know if it overwrites my bios settings either when restarting, not sure if I want that. Are you familiar with this program?

Damn, the way I tried turns off avx for the entire system. I thought I did it correctly. Does anyone know how to do this just for the program and leave the rest of the computer untouched? A list of steps perhaps? It's tricky.

This is odd, now it seems to be working OK. I hope I got it working now.

I did not create profiles so I can’t help you on that, I just used it to tweak my entire system to find best CPU voltage offset.

It's tough. I can't get it stable @ 5.1.
