[SOLVED] Change MotherBoard

Hi and Happy New Year!
Can i change MB asrock h81m-vg4 with MB BIOSTAR H81MHV3 ?
Will match to the same case? CPU socket and DDR3 memory is ok. Something else that i should check?

A look at their spec sheets says both are micro ATX, so they should fit in any standard micro ATX case.

I have no idea if you have a micro ATX case.

Everything should work but you will probably need to do a fresh install of windows.

Thank you. I hope will work with same windows . Also i can run SYSPREP before. What do you think?

I know of Sysprep, but you rarely hear about anyone actually using it. If you are experienced with it, give it a try.

You might try just moving everything to the new board and seeing if you can boot from your existing system drive without using Sysprep. Windows 10 is pretty forgiving for things like that, so you may not have any major problems. You might need different drivers, but should be able to update them if it will boot OK.
