I am intending to upgrade my PC by changing
the motherboard , cpu and memory.

If I make a true image of my hard drive and after making
the change copying the image back to the hard drive, would
the system work and be restored to its original functionality?

Regards,

Probably not. If you have a new chipset XP will not want to run. There are ways, but it depends on what you are changing, what you are changing to, and of course your os.

Well heck that didn't start happening until I started using the new system. Have to work soon, will figure it out later.
