I made an amd pc, and I was thinking of changing it to intel. I know that I will have to change my motherboard. But I have an amd Radeon gpu, would I have to change that or could I keep it. Also, is there anything else that I might have to change?

Solution
The brand of the gpu doesn't matter. If you got an OEM window licence, you most likely have to get a new licence then. You could try asking microsoft if you can move it to your new motherboard.

I've never had a problem transfering my OEM licences. I just had to call them up when I upgrade. It is a problem if it was a prebuilt PC, but not if you bought the OEM Windows software with the disks and everything.

You are all set then

The other thing to consider is memory compatibility. Your current memory may, or may not, work with a new motherboard. For example, if your AMD system uses DDR2 memory and your intended new Intel-based motherboard uses DDR3 or DDR4 memory, you would have to buy new memory as well.
