Hi guys i have this xeon e3 1230v2, and i have an asrock h61m vg3, i know its not the best for OC but i plan to get the 2600 to OC around 4,3 ,45 without touching the volts, will my mobo be good, and also will i see increase in performance in games? Because my cpu just get at 3592mhz while gaming so if i OC the 2600k how many percentages of increase should i see? i got an rx 580 4gb, imt sure if i should spent that extra money for the 2600k because i dont want to change the mobo and also i will be using the stock cooler so i might dont OC to 4,5 because of that, im trying to play modern games like metro exodus shadow of the tomb raider in high setting at 1080p 60fps

If you are planning to use stock heatsink dont get the i7, also the difference between those two is around 20% in the best scenario, but in gaming you won't notice any gain. Save that money and buy Ryzen 5 3600 b450 combo later on when you get more money. I was looking game results with that gpu you had and the xeon and literally my gf's system is similar but had an i7 2600k clocked at 4.7Ghz and a rx570 8gb and your combo get more fps (by the gpu yes) but the cpu won't make any difference.
