Changed from a TN to an IPS panel but now have an issue

So yea, I switched out my TN panel in my ROG laptop for an IPS panel but now I can't get the faceplate (not sure what it's called exactly) to cling to the screen and it bugs the crap out of me. Could someone please give me some advice? Not sure how to post pictures on this site to show you what I mean.
