Hello,

I bought a i5 4460 sometime ago, and earlier this week I bought a new LG 49UH6100 UHD 4K TV all connected to my Onkyo TX-NR646. Once I changed my resolution to 3840x2160, it was well besides there being white dots showering the blacks on the screen. Then I put in Wall-E on blu-ray and the screen began to flicker, and then I got a blanket screen of static. If I change to 1920x1080 everything bagans to be fine. Not sure I am going to need a graphics card or a new mother board, but I need help because I dont want to waste money.

Hello,

I have a high speed hdmi cable running to the hub, I opened the connection. It is more than a 25ft run. And there is no way for me to make it any shorter. Would I harm my tv or other components if I changed the resolution to 1080p ?

Right now its not working out because the following set is not working.

TV HDMI 3(ARC)>ONKYO
TV HDMI 2 PC, I get a picture but with no sound.

ONKYO HDMI Output (ARC)>TV
ONKYO HDMI 3>PS4

I hope you guys could follow. I am also losing a direct cat 5 connection to the PC as well.

I have my PS4 connected to my Onkyo and the Onkyo out to the TV.

Then I moved my PC to the HDMI port directly to the TV, so I could get my 4K picture at 24hz. But now I dont get any sound. I believe because its not connected to the Onkyo. Not sure.
