Changed psu and now pc won't start

Hey all,I bought a new psu today. I bought an EVGA 600w psu to replace my Thermaltake 430w psu. I thought I had everything plugged in properly, but it won't start. I tried putting the old one back but it won't work either. I have the cpu and motherboard cable plugged in, and the sata cords, and the molex to the fan.

Check the fuse in the wall plug?

Check if the PSU switch 0/1 is on 1, it is possible that you missed it.

try another device at the wall plug, maybe the plug doesn't give power

It's tried three different sockets and two different cords. And the psu is set to 1.

does any led get powered up ?I suspect your mobo got fried somehow, that's why nothing happens.

I fixed it!!! I had a couple cables in the wrong place.

It was a couple of cables that didn't come with the psu that were with the motherboard. I unplugged everything when I changed the psu out because I didn't know went with it. One of the cables said "AC 97" on it, if that helps.

you mean the front panel cables then, like the HDD power Power SW etc. Y they are essential so your power button works 😛
