Hi guys,

I have
msi h81m-p33 motherboard
intel pentium g3258 cpu
gskill ripjaws 1600mhz 4gb one module ram
120 gb sandisk extreme ssd

and nothing else i was planning to buy a video card later on so past 2-3 weeks i was just wandering around internet looking up to forums here and there etc.

and another note i was using my old computers 400w psu from 2007 or so.

now here is my problem everything was fine until i updated 1.7 bios to 1.8 by mflash thing.

later on i didnt touched ANY OC settings but just saw that RAM was working on 1333mhz and (when the bios was 1.7 i couldnt change that but now at 1.8 it showed my many more speeds) so i changed the speed to 1600mhz (i think i changed both 2 speed there were 2 ram speed writing Auto, i only have one module) then i saved and restart now it boots but no video or signal i tried 3 different monitors but still no i tried to reset cmos by battery etc. still no signal

and also i tried to boot without ram and it beeped like usual no ram beeping then later on when i intert the ram again pc boots but complete silence...

what is wrong and do you need extra information.

thank you all for looking.

Your best bet is to reset the bios. But are you using xmp profile?Do you change the voltage?maybe the problem lies in not enough voltage.Refer to manual to see the original settings.

Thank you for the reply i am thinking that i could blow up or messed with my motherboard my best bet is now trying the same things with another motherboard i think

I cannot access the bios i am not using XMP because motherboard doesnt supports it

Try to reset bios by removing the cmos battery for 30 seconds and putting it back. You could try using another motherboard to check the ram.Oh if youre buying a new gpu buy a new psu because that thing can be dead by now.
