Hello,i live on a property with multiple dwellings. There is an internet connection coming into the main house. From there cables with internet go to the remaining houses.I can connect to the internet via the cable. I would like to have a wireless in my house, so i have purchased a wireless router. I have connected correctly to the line, set up wireless network with password. Now i can connect to my wireless network but i can't connect to the internet.
I was trying few different things but with no luck. I took my router to friends house and hooked it up under the same arrangement. Internet > his modem / router > from there with cable to my router.
There i could connect to the internet trough both, a cable directly to my router or wireless trough my routers wireless network.
All works as it should.
What is the problem in my house ??? what do i need to change to access internet ??? Is there a possible hardware conflict with the main access point and mine ??? pls help
