Changing Default Graphics Processor

Hi guys i wanted to ask how do i change my default graphics processor. I have nvidia GeForce GT 720M. I change the graphics processor from the nvidia control panel but every time i change there the default processor and every time i apply the changes and exit the window it changes the default graphics processor to Intel integrated 4000. None of the options are greyed out but still it wont change, i change it every time, but every time it changes back the default processor to intel integrated graphics 4000.
What am i supposed to do?

if you don't want the intel ones do be the default then uninstall the drivers of the intel graphics processor
and if they are already unistalled than try reinstalling the nvidia drivers

i have tried to to disable the intel driver from device manager but after disabling the nvidia control panel doesnt open...it says " You are not currently using display attached to nvidia GPU"
