I just recently got a dark rock pro 4 to pair with my Ryzen 7 5800X and I noticed it was running a little hotter than I would like. I know its typical of the new Ryzen series to run hot, but I was wondering if there is any way to get better cooling in any way. I installed the cooler with the stock fans and was wondering if I could possibly swap at least the outer fan out for a noctua? I know the middle wouldn't fit.

Solution
Try fiddling with the fan speed adjustments for your case fans and CPU cooler. More than likely you'll get better cooling with a more aggressive fan curve. As the default is often really light cooling until you hit really high temps. Then the fans ramp up quick.
