Changing MTU On Old Microsoft MN-500 Router

So to make a long story short, I need to change the MTU on my old Microsoft MN-500 router. Unfortunately, this router doesn't seem have a setting to change the MTU. Is there any way I can change the MTU on it? I'm sort of new with networking, so sorry if I don't explain myself clearly, or fail to understand an answer.

you are really brave using a Microsoft router for your internet security given their proven security record of the OSs.

I think it is time to upgrade your router to one that also supports WPA2 wireless security

Yeah, my main router is much better, but I wanted to try expanding my connection, so I gave it a try.
