Changing my laptop cpu

yes but make sure it the same socket type as your MOBO witch it is a PGA988 Socket and i mean i looking out for you and your laptop i wouldn't recommend going over the voltage that the MOBO supports cause it could mess it up or completely fry it.

your voltage on your current processor is 35 W you could go over but not by much i just do not recommend it unless your willing to take a chance on frying something and having to get a new one witch would be way more than getting processor that would work.

As Aaron_90 says, your CPU is socket PGA988 a.k.a. G2 and the socket should physically accept any other G2 CPU, which are Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge Celeron, Pentium and Core i CPUs. HOWEVER, I should caution you that the HM65 chipset is artificially limited to using only Celerons and Pentiums. It will boot with a Core i3/i5, but the system will force-shutdown after 30 minutes. Intel did this so they could sell the chipset cheaper to manufacturers who didn't plan to put Core CPUs in them. Also note that if you put in a non-35w CPU you will almost certainly have problems with overheating/throttling.

Here is a list of all G2 CPUs: http://www.cpu-world.com/Sockets/Socket%20G2%20(rPGA988B).html

The Pentium 2020M and 2030M are your best bets. These can be found on eBay for ~$20.

And I am looking at Pentium G2020 and it says that it has 55w,compared to an I3 I saw that had 35w,but I looked at the pentium 2030 and it was pretty good, what is the video card?Intel Hd 3000?or 2500?

No, it's built into the chipset. Intel did it for pricing reasons - the HM65 chipset is cheaper than HM67 only because it doesn't support "Core i" CPUs. This allowed OEMs to build cheaper laptops with Celerons and Pentiums.

You're very lucky to be able to change your CPU at all, it's integrated into the motherboard in most.

So the pentium 2030 would be the best for me,right?

And what will be the GPU at the Pentium 2020?I looked and saw that the 2030 had Intel HD Graphics 2500,is it the same or it is different? If both are the same I am buying the Pentium 2020 or 2030 because the price I am finding
