I recently acquired a computer from a relative, and unfortunately I never learned the password to the account. I managed to bypass the password log-in with Kon Boot and create a second user, however, this still means that I don't have access to the Admin account without always using Kon Boot.

I've seen some tutorials that change the passwords using the cmd prompt, but because the admin password is connected with the Microsoft account, will this still work? Is there any other way that I can change the admin password without knowing the old pass?

I don't have the Windows CD or a Recovery CD, so that's out of the question as well. I'd rather not have to do a clean install of the OS, mainly because I don't have access to one. Also, I understand the simple solution is to ask the relative, but unfortunately that would be impossible unless I perform a seance...

Thanks
