Chassis fan 2 header on asrock mobo problems!

Hi guys I have a asrock z370 extreme 4 mobo and whatever fan I plug in to the chassis fan 2 header wont work on silent mode but will work on all other modes and wont show up on the bios in silent mode ether but will show on the other modes, the fan will spin up initially in silent mode and briefly show on the bios then disappear, they are all 4 pin fans going in to 4 pin headers.
Any ideas why?

Since CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2 headers are both identical with SMART fan control support, you might have a defective fan header. As far as why it doesn't work as it's supposed to, only AsRock representative can answer that. So, your best bet would be contacting AsRock customer support and explain your issue to them.
