I've been wanting to upgrade my old system but don't have alot of money to do so , so been watching videos like this

He uses server motherboard and server ram , I thought these wernt good for gaming?
Also would the build in the above video play games and flight simulator 2020
Better than this my current pc .
I5 2300
8gb ram ddr3
Gtx 1050ti

You can look up the specs for flight simulator 2020 and I don’t think that box could handle it

But would it be twice as better as playing games than what I've got now ?
I can play flight simulator but only on medium

If you want to upgrade your system for low cost, swap out the i5 for an i7 that the motherboard can run and get a 1650 Super. Sell the 1050 Ti to get some of the money back. Maybe even the i5 you have can sell for $10 or 20 or something.

The correct question should have been "I have these parts, and this much money, how can I make the system faster".
