I use a windows 10 64 bit desktop at my office and need to run 3 monitors
AMD FX(tm)-8120 Eight-Core Processor at 3.10 GHz
Mobo is a GigaByte GA-970A-D3 Rev 1.1
There is not on board graphics on this MOBO

It has a AMD Radeon HD 6670 video card using a PCI express 2.0 slot on the MOBO

Currently I have two monitors and that has been fine for many years
One is hooked to HDMI and the other is hooked to DVI

I tested hooking up a 3rd monitor to the VGA connector on the video card
Windows finds the monitor but all the settings are not available
Doing a search, I found this video card can only run two monitors

So I would like a cheap video card that can run 3 monitors
My PC only runs business software and not games, so I don't need a high end gaming card
I don't do any intensive graphics task on this PC

Older cards are fine for my application
I see lots of card for under $75 on Newegg and Amazon, but it's hard to tell if they can run 3 monitors
Asking questions on those sites is hit or miss

One monitor has HDMI and VGA ports
One monitor has DVI and VGA ports
The 3rd monitor has DVI and VGA ports only

So a card with a couple DVI and a HDMI would work.

Does anyone have any card suggestions?
Priced below $75 is fine
Thanks for any help

Ok, new idea
Can I add another PCI express 2.0 card and get a third monitor that way?
I have another slot open on the MOBO
I found the same card I have for cheap
So I would have two of the same crads installed

Thanks for the help all
yes, I will move the PCI card down one slot

I got another working AMD Radeon HD 6670 on ebay yesterday
So the same card as what I have

The Ebay auction had one bid of $15.00 and it was going to end in 17 minutes
I bid $20.01 at 8 seconds and won the card auction
Actually got it for $16.01 plus $9 shipping

I picked up a Dell monitor for cheap
This 3rd screen only is for shipping software so I don't have to keep bringing it up on monitor 2

Here's a follow up to my 3 monitor adventure

The new Radeon HD 6670 video card showed up today
It installed without any issues
The other card is also a HD 6670, so same drivers

The cheapo dell monitor I bought works fine
Not as bright as my other two monitors, but I got it setup and working fine

The only issue now is that the extended desktop is 3 monitors wide
When I want to go up to the new top monitor, it's a long mouse move to the right to get there
I keep moving my mouse up instead of going way right :)
I'll get used it eventually

The monitor was $40 new on Newegg
The HD 6670 was $16.01 on Ebay
So for $56, I got my 3 monitor setup

Thanks for all the help

BTW, I figured out how to move the mouse up to get to that top screen

Windows 10 display set up lets you drag monitors around and form a layout
I moved monitor 3 where you see it in my screen shot
I can now go mouse up from the left main screen and go to screen 3
Very handy
