Cheap Sound Card Worth it?

Hello i was just wondering if it its woth it to get a around $30 cheap sound card becasue i want to use some speakers with it but i cant on my MOBO Due to my razer headset taking up the holes already. Im planning on getting cheap speakers also like around $30 also. I will just use it for listening to music.

Having a sound card will not make the OS output to two different outputs.
Headphone or speaker...not both. Unless you use a Y cable.

So can i use just any Y cable or do i have to use a certain cable?
