Can someone build me a cheap Video Editing PC? I don't have a set budget, just make sure it's less then $600. The less expensive it is, the better. Thanks!

Monitor - Not needed

OS - Not needed

Thanks!!

Here's my take. For video editing, going budget is tough, 'cause you can't get a good Intel CPU, like you'd want for video work. Here is a decent AMD build:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-6350 3.9GHz 6-Core Processor ($134.99 @ TigerDirect)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($119.00 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.65 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Rosewill R5 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($14.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $578.58
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
