Thinking of building a new pc around $1000 AUD but i want a good build for lots of gaming and maybe some slight video editing when i start recording and here are the specs, BUT, i want to get good frame rates while playing on maxed out which this videocard can handle but ive got a feeling i need some more cheaper alternatives to my parts at the moment, becaus im trying to copy the $1000 Positron build from Austin Evans but mine adds up to around $1300 Need Advice

Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Super Clocked ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5
Intel Core i5-4690 Processor (Not the "K" because im not going to overclock)
Crucial MX100 256GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB Dual Channel Memory
Corsair CS650M Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply
Western Digital WD Blue 1TB
ASUS H97-PRO-GAMER Motherboard

Here's an AMD build I've compiled together using PCPartPicker, used good quality parts where possible. THis will play your games well and will render nicely for the price. (I'll post an equivalent Intel build later when I have the time)

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($145.00 @ Centre Com)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X 82.9 CFM CPU Cooler ($42.00 @ IJK)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($89.00 @ Centre Com)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($72.00 @ Centre Com)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB...

Do i have to change anything on my build for this to fit in, eg, motherboard?

I would go for something like this

Prices are high as shit over there!

I would not go with that motherboard, The VRM's will very likely overheat and result to the 8320 throttling even at stock speeds.

NOTE: The 8320E is available for about $175 on newegg, and will play threaded games much more better than the 6300.

EDIT: Here it is, It will play single-threaded games much better than the FX, but video rendering will be somewhat slower compared to the FX build

Either way, both builds will give you a great gaming experience and you can't go wrong with any of them.
