Actualy, it seems he's not going to multi-gpu but was worried beacuse he wants an r9 390. I'm guessing 620w will be able to power that, right?

Some R9 390's require 2 8-pin connectors. The 620 S12II has 1 6-pin and 1 8-pin.

I'll tell him to take that into account. Do you think 620 is enough? teh rest is fairly basic. i5, b150 mobo, ssd and hdd.
