Question Cannot change Mode Function any more on new laptop.

Hi

I got a new Laptop from Amazon 3 weeks ago. It has been on maybe 4 times in that time and maybe 2-3 hours in total watching films.

It is a Jumper X-8 and i will post a link at the bottom to the Amazon page. It has 3 modes you can enable depending on the circumstances/what you are doing. Quiet, Balanced and High Performance. The Modes are changed by using Function+ F and the power adapter must be plugged in for it to work. It was working when i got it, but nothing happens now. Power adapter is in and the Fn and F keys work fine on every other command. But for some reason the change mode function doesn't work any more. Any idea why?

In System Information what OS Name and Version?

In Control Panel > Power Options what are the current settings?

My thought being that an interim Windows update may have disabled some third party app being used to change the mode setting.

Check Update History for any Windows updates.
