OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: maybe probly not

Amazing value deal there Jared but the 4870 is overkill for WOW . Replace it with a 4830 or even a 4670 and the build is well under the budget ... if the OP doesnt need WINDOWS

I would stick with 4GB. You'll still be able to use 3 - 3.5GB and with the current price of RAM I don't see any reason not to go with 4GB.

That intel build I put up includes the after market heat sink wich is also pre applied with MX-2 thermal paste. The case is vented and that build will allow you to punch up that cpu to 3.5GHz @ 1333 fsb just by moving it up to (10.5 x 333).

It looks to be an Intel world these days. I remember when AMD ruled the roost...and they did for years, but all that changed with the Intel dual cores. Intel has never looked back since then. Most of those AMD boy's are still stuck in the world of 2004; Windows XP, side window cases with lots of bright flashy lights, and 2 gigs of RAM,
