Hello,

What is the cheapest motherboard/s that can handle i9 14900k Turbo mode? no overclocking just intel specs. I understand that power delivery is important and AIO cooling as well for 253 watts cooling ( as intel put it ) but many cheap motherboards have cheap power delivery .. which ones can handle it 100% (stock/max turbo) ? no need for expensive Z chipset ...

Are you wanting an ATX board or are you ok with a micro ATX board?

Micro ATX boards are cheaper, as they are cut down, smaller versions, but they often also don't have as many slots, headers and in some cases the same feature set as their full size ATX versions.

The size is not important ... I want the cheapest that can handle i9 14900k without throttling (for hours max load)

If you need the cheapest you might need to rethink your build.
The new processors pretty much try to boost as far as they can depending on the cooling.
Without looking at benchmarks I would say it will try to use around 250 watts with a max load unless it's thermal throttling.

The 14900K is not really a good buy anyhow. so close to the 13900K the refresh was very little for performance.

Yeah, there is only like a 2.8% difference in multithreaded performance and a 3% difference in single core performance between the 13900k and 14900k, and yet, the 14900k costs about 35 bucks more. No way I'd pay 35 bucks to get maybe around a 3% gain in performance. Especially when they have the exact same base and turbo TDP so there is no thermal or efficiency benefit from the refresh either.

This is the least expensive board I'd want to run a 13900k or 14900k on.

Reviews show it ran the 13900k to Intel spec without any problems and you can even increase PL1 power and lower vcore somewhat IF you wish, to gain a little more out of it. Out of the box, it runs exactly as Intel specifies.

This, would be a much better option IMO.
