Hi volkgren, thank you for helping me. I love the prices. This will be my first PC I built.

Do you think the memory will run at 3200mhz? The motherboard site thinks this memory (F4-3200C16D-16GTZB) runs at 2933. Not sure if this has been tested yet or would it cost a lot more to get to the 3200.

On another note do you think the gtx 1080 will be replaced with a cheaper AMD GPU anytime soon or recommend a cheaper GPU for 1080p AAA gaming? Note hoping to not have to upgrade GPU when new xbox games for PC are released.

I do not think the GTX 1080 will be replaced anytime soon. The RTX 2070 is expected to be around the same performance the same or more cost, except with the added RTX technology.

The QVL list is not definitive. It is simply the combinations they tested. You may only be able to run 2933MHz. I recently built Ryzen 7 2700X + X470 motherboard with 3200MHz RAM and it took a few times of trying to get it to run at 3200. AMD is somewhat finicky with memory.
